Steps involved

Determining the raw water’s source. The initial stage involves choosing the water source that will be used to make bottled drinking water. Water may come from municipal supplies, bore wells, or other sources that can be treated.

Filtration Plants

The subsequent step is to store raw water using a pumping system in a raw water storage tank. If the water comes from a bore well, a submersible pump could be employed for the task to be done as most of the people now-a-days are interested and finds it more beneficial.

Water testing is the next step. In our on-site water testing facility, we put purified water through this process. Water is examined for chemical and microbiological properties in a lab, but most of the plants have their own lab for instanst test data.

Packing and bottling

Professional-grade machines are used to help with the packaging and bottling processes.

Water treatment system

Treatment methods include reverse osmosis (RO), Ozone disinfection, and the water softening process.

Technical Aspects

Raw water is treated with an alum chemical to eliminate contaminants. The chemical alum produces big, easily-removable particles by producing positive charges that adhere to the negative charges of the constituent parts. After the coagulation process, the water is given an hour to settle. Salts and other dissolved contaminants from water are eliminated using the RO procedure. Then, using a bubbling chlorine gas in the chlorination tank, bacteria and other microorganisms are killed.

To remove undissolved pollutants, the water is now passed through sand filters. Finally, the carbon filtration de-chlorination process is performed. Water is run through a carbon filter to remove colour and odour. Carbon filters are also used for dechlorination.
